During the last year, it was pretty quiet with my website. Limited updates on my blog let it look lonely. From time to time I was working on my Map, removed some bugs and added some functionality.
But I still wanted to maintain a decent website, less focussed on
a blog.
It had to be clean, reduced to a minimum with certain tweaks and
highlights. I also wanted to have more controll about it, since my
previous site broke, because
Hugo introduced
Breaking Changes which were poorly documented and I could not
properly fix it. Therefore, I went back to basics and coded this
site with HTML and CSS only.
I moved the blog to a secondary page and the website does not longer focus on it. The old posts will be recycled and be made available thoughout the next months, whenever I will find time.
The new layout allows me to focus more to test out new things
instead of requiring frequent writing of blog posts.
I can
try out new ideas and adjust the design and layout carefully.
